Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game for PC/Computer originally developed by ninjamuffin99, PhantomArcade, evilsk8r, and Kawai Sprite for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam in October 2020, but was later expanded into a full game. Friday Night Funkin' was played by Albert in the videos Albert plays FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN’, and more recently Flamingo plays Friday Night Funkin Week 7.
Weeks are stages that players play in. In each week, the player has to press a sequence of arrows at a certain time and rhythm with the music to simulate the player's protagonist participating in various forms of "rap battles". If the player misses too many arrows then the player will lose, causing the retry screen to load.
The Day of Judgement
Very recently, the developers announced on Twitter that the main game (Basically FNF) has been placed under review and the developers have been slapped with 7-Day bans. This is because a supposed "UTG" (Ultimate Trolling GUI) was found in their game and on the ban note it was a link to a COMPLETELY different game that the creators had nothing affiliated with. The ban stint has ended and it is unknown when the game will be brought back up.
